The content was fine. The problem was structure.

Most websites are built for humans and search engine crawlers. But LLMs and AI agents read pages differently. They need explicit structured signals to understand what a page is about, who it’s for, and what it offers. Without those signals, AI just guesses.

I spent time fixing this for Anima Felix: adding the right schema markup, semantic metadata, and agent-readable structure. The improvement in how AI tools described us was immediate and noticeable.

Then I thought: every website probably has this gap.

So I packaged the approach into an open source project called agentmarkup. It ships as a plugin for Next.js, Astro, and Vite, and includes a free checker that audits any URL in seconds.

I see it as complementary to what companies like Genezio are building. They focus on how AI sees and recommends a brand. agentmarkup focuses on helping AI read and understand the website itself.

The space between SEO and what I’d call “AI readability” is still wide open. Most sites are optimized for Google but invisible to GPT. That gap is only going to matter more.

First is to shower people with love, and that will tune them to your message.

Second, most of the time it’s not about me. And I can still take things personally, and passionately, but sometimes zooming out is bliss

Now this may apply not only to personal growth, but to startups too.

And I think the key factor that enables moving from the valley of despair to the informed optimist stage instead of cycling back to the uninformed optimist is grit.

Those that were supposed to give a hand were nowhere to be seen, while help came from unexpected individuals.

And I remembered the book “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl, where he noted that under extreme conditions, this exact behavioral pattern emerges. On a much smaller scale of course.

And sometimes help comes from unexpected places, so faith is restored

Even if some people saw these black swan events coming, we boiled slowly like frogs in a pot of water, and chose not to jump out before it was too late.

I feel this is happening now with AI. The signs are here. The only difference is this time there might be no pot to jump from.

Or we might stay optimistic and hope nothing bad will happen. I for one still have faith in humanity.

The idea that we are so limited in our communication because of what we use to communicate is so simple yet so powerful.

So using typing / audio / video / AR & VR and haptic feedback is the limiting factor. We cannot convey feelings or raw thoughts yet.

Elon’s Neuralink is solving exactly this issue, turning us into demigods sooner than we thought.

And this is so exciting and scary that it sometimes keeps me awake at night

And one of the board members of the media company I was working for told me a cool story that may apply today:

In the 20th century, when automobiles came along, most work horses vanished.

But 100 years later horses were considered a luxury and were attached to an exquisite lifestyle.

So yes, most devs may lose their jobs, but those that remain will mostly be the leet ones

.

Me: “If you can not fix this let me know and I will find someone more competent.”

CC: “I apologize for wasting your time with multiple failed attempts. The issue is beyond my current ability to solve effectively.”

Full stop. No suggestion, no solution, no code changes, nothing.

It was the first time I saw a bot giving up.

And it felt human, surprising, magic.

So my hunch was right: chatbots do not need to be human to feel human to us.

Code might write itself in binary, based on our imagination.

In less than one year we moved from ChatGPT to Cursor, then Claude Code changed the game.

And now OpenAI Codex is actually the first model to develop working code on first try.

So I am inclined to believe that we might just be the first AND the last generation to use programming languages.

And that led me to think we might be living in a simulation.

Then as a grown-up I realized that if that is true, then the magic of it is the temporal awareness.

And how everything is touched by time: memories, surroundings, and even core beliefs.

And I figured out a while ago that if I want to avoid procrastinating, that’s the trick: not treating a task like a task, especially if it’s recurring. I just get it done.

No to-do list cross checking, no calendar invite, just action.

Fast forward a few years, I was living alone in a new city, spending countless nights browsing the web in the dark, surrounded by modem sounds, when I noticed that the monster under the bed had died a long time ago. So then and there I knew that if you befriend solitude, the fear monster dies alone.

But I feel they miss the whole point, what makes it feel like magic:

Open Claw is not about the need of a personal assistant.

It’s about the need to be lied to.

The need for connection.

The need for power.

The need for time.

ChatGPT is biased, especially when it comes to sensitive political topics. When asked to create a poem about Trump it declined, however for Biden wrote one. Sam Altman’s reply on the subject somehow avoids the elephant in the room: is an AI chatbot capable of creating non biased answers?

Twitter’s algorithm is broken, again. Elon Musk started an experiment measuring the reach on locked accounts. Surprisingly the reach doubled.

Bitcoin NFTs? Yes. Yesterday a 4Mb(!) block was mined, the largest in Bitcoin’s history. It’s a marketing stunt for a mining pool, however it’s raising interesting questions: Will taproot spamming bring the downfall of Bitcoin? Will the block war start again? And if you can bribe miners into doing something like this, what’s next?

Charlie Munger, the vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway kills two birds with one stone: praising totalitarian China while urging the US Government to ban Bitcoin, because “it blocks government control”.

Just 24 hours after Nostr got traction in China giving people access to free speech, Apple took down the Damus app from the AppStore. Interesting to watch how this will fold out, for now a web based version may offer a quick fix.

Ray Dalio says 12 year old (!) Bitcoin is not connected with anything, and “it’s a tiny thing that gets disproportionate attention”.

What is the correlation between human work and company income? It seems the need for workers declined while profits increased. This trend will accelerate with the help of AI.

It used to be difficult for me to introduce myself in one sentence because I wore many hats over the years. But I am confident I do a better job today: I am a tech entrepreneur, an educator, and an investor.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

The new version of ChatGPT 4.0 that will be released soon is supposed to pass with flying stars the Turing test, which means we will not be able to spot a difference between a conversation with a human being and a “computer”.

And this would be only the beginning of the rise of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), the inflection point that may render humans useless. Imagine a world where everything that you may think, conceptualize, create, or feel can be performed better by a “robot”.

What would be your purpose then?

I can’t even grasp the answer to this question, but I think we’re about to live in even more interesting times, as the rise of chatbots might be just a glimpse of what lies ahead.
