iPhone 3G almost unlocked
The iphone-dev team has finally managed to make some headway in the battle to “crack” the iPhone 3G.
At the moment, you can’t use any SIM cards other than the official ones. Any unlocking (for a fee - 100 euros) can only be done at Orange. Soon, that won’t be the case anymore. :)
So far, only second-generation phones can be “cracked” using their method.
Below is the “proof” that the original code has been modified.

eu imi doresc un iPhone adevarat de cind am vazut la tine si la Radu, mi-e teama insa ca va mai trebui sa astept un timp destul de indelungat. E un aparat formidabil, e asa de destept, ca nu iti vine sa crezi ca e facut de minte si mina de om! dar cum de e posibila acea spargere de coduri? e in intelegere cu firma fabricanta?
