Hello, world!
It used to be difficult for me to introduce myself in one sentence because I wore many hats over the years. But I am confident I do a better job today: I am a tech entrepreneur, an educator, and an investor.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT and the rise of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
The new version of ChatGPT 4.0 that will be released soon is supposed to pass with flying stars the Turing test, which means we will not be able to spot a difference between a conversation with a human being and a “computer”.
And this would be only the beginning of the rise of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), the inflection point that may render humans useless. Imagine a world where everything that you may think, conceptualize, create, or feel can be performed better by a “robot”.
What would be your purpose then?
I can’t even grasp the answer to this question, but I think we’re about to live in even more interesting times, as the rise of chatbots might be just a glimpse of what lies ahead.
Connecting the dots: music, grit, diplomacy and blockchain
I strongly believe that blockchain can and should empower people through technology, however, the last three bull cycles proved that we have a long way to go until the vision of Satoshi Nakamoto will be fulfilled:
The adoption of a public system for electronic transactions that are not relying on centralized trust.
Interview with Alexandru Chitea - Managing Partner at Funston Capital
I met Alexandru Chitea in 2018 in San Francisco, while he was in charge of the series B ($15M+) investments in cybersecurity companies at Orange.
